On-Board Boring Rig Control System

On-board boring rig control system accomplishes the following tasks:


  • Control of electrical equipment condition
  • Measuring characteristics of primary power input (for an excavator on the whole)
  • Control of mechanical characteristic of an excavator (detecting the kingbolt gap)
  • Acquisition of geographic coordinates of current location of an excavator and satellite time from the GPS global positioning system
  • Information exchange with the "KARJER" mining-and-transport dispatch system
  • Display of operating values of the equipment on the special image panel located in the cab of an excavator
  • Keeping the log-book for the recording of equipment operating parameters
